La Dordogne
Getting there
✈️ + 🚘 The easiest way to reach the region is by flying into Bordeaux–Mérignac Airport (BOD). There are direct flights from Paris and Istanbul, but unfortunately not from New York or Tel Aviv.
The chateau is a 1.5 hour drive away from the airport. If you chose to drive from Paris, the journey will take anywhere from 5.5 to 7 hours.
🚆 + 🚘 You can also take the train directly from Paris Charles (CDG) to Angoulême, which is a comfortable 3 hour journey.
The chateau is a 50 minute drive from the train station.
